Anjali Anturkar

Anjali Anturkar has served as the Associate Vice President of Student Life since 2007. She leads foundational units within Student Life, including budget, finance, human resources, and technology. She also plays a key role in planning major building projects on campus. With more than 30 years in higher education, mostly at U-M, she is known for her strong leadership in finance and operations.

Before joining Michigan, Anturkar worked with nonprofit groups in India to help students of all ages—especially those facing economic hardship—gain access to education. She holds several professional certifications in accounting and management from both India and the United States.

Anturkar is deeply committed to helping students succeed. Outside of work, she is active in Detroit-area organizations and has helped organize large cultural events for the Indian American community.
