Kambiz Khalili

Kambiz Khalili has served as Associate Vice President of Student Life at the University of Michigan since 2017. He manages auxiliary units, including Michigan Housing, Michigan Dining, University Unions, Student Life Facilities, Student Life Student Sustainability, Conference & Event Services, and several other student-focused services, such as the Center for Campus Involvement (CCI). He is also responsible for Student Life’s large facility and capital construction projects.

Previously, he was Associate Vice Chancellor at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He has over 37 years of experience in higher education, mostly in senior roles, and has led the planning and building of many student facilities.

Kambiz holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Northern Colorado and an Executive MBA from Colorado State University. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and is a certified karate instructor.
