Will Sherry

Will Sherry is the first Director of Strategic Initiatives and also serves as Special Advisor to the Vice President for Student Life at the University of Michigan. He leads teams working on division-wide projects to help achieve Student Life and university goals. Previously, he led the Division’s Spectrum Center, the first campus-based LGBTQ+ center in the U.S.

Sherry is widely recognized for advancing efforts around equity, belonging, and support for LGBTQ+ communities at U-M. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
